What is the purpose of CAC certification?

The purpose of the CAC program is for the standardization, delivery and certification of competence for a category of provider called a Certified Aesthetic Consultant (CAC). More than ever, discerning aesthetic patients seek out highly qualified professionals before booking treatment, driving practices to raise their standards in order to remain competitive. Drawn from diverse backgrounds, and labeled by varying names, the individual who has mastered the art, science and business of medical aesthetic practice management and patient consultation is in high demand.

Who can enroll in the CAC program?

CAC certification is open to all aesthetic professionals, including physicians, nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, aestheticians as well as front and back office staff.

How do I become certified?

The CAC program consists of a full curriculum of online video modules and a final exam. The exam may only be taken after completing the entire CAC curriculum. To receive certification you must:

  • Complete the online curriculum
  • Pass the CAC exam

Participants will be able to view their progress toward the CAC designation online.
